First Condominiums Under Roof at The Annex at River South Community
November 21, 2008, Columbus, Ohio – The first condominiums at Lifestyle Communities new downtown neighborhood, The Annex in the RiverSouth District, are framed and under roofing. Foundations for the first of two condominium buildings, each of which that will house 38 condominiums, are in place. Construction activities also continue installing the foundations for the 134 apartments in this new community.
Located on 2.8 acres along South Front Street between West Town and Rich streets, this new project is estimated to open in 2009 and will include a total of 210 residential units. The community targets young buyers looking for moderately priced housing in an urban setting, in the heart of the RiverSouth District and adjacent to the Scioto Mile.
The condominium homes will start at $125,000, with an average base price in the low $200,000’s. Single-story, two-story, and four-story condominiums will be sold, including condominiums featuring rear decks and rooftop terraces with incredible city views. All condominiums include attached garages.
Apartments will include one and two bedroom units, with monthly rent starting in the $800’s. The residential development will include enclosed courtyards, a fitness center, rooftop terraces and outdoor green space, as well as attached parking for all units.
