Community Involvement

Social consciousness means more to us than the business of building communities alone. It is being socially responsible by lending a helping hand to those in need. We are committed to support causes such as city-wide blood-drives, working with various children’s charities , help feed and build houses for the homeless, fight against family violence and join the effort to cure cancer. Below is a list of some of our supported causes. We are open to add to our community relations as our company and communities grow. Lifestyle Communities would gladly assist anyone with the charity of their choice .

Columbus Children’s Hospital-Information

Founded by a determined group of women in 1892, Children's Hospital began as a local charity to serve a dozen very ill children. Throughout the following century, this tiny community-funded mission matured into a health care system that today spans the Midwest as one of its preferred providers of pediatric health care. Columbus Children's today is ranked as one of the nation’s ten largest children’s hospitals and pediatric research centers.

Lifestyle Communities has sponsored Columbus Children’s Hospital since 2004 to the present. We support events like 2005 Business Buddy Program, featuring corporate giving, as well as the Infusion Clinic Expansion in 2004. No child is turned away at Children’s Hospital, and we wouldn’t turn away from taking a part in improving a child’s life, either.

This is done by forming alliances with corporate, medical, law enforcement and social service agencies, as well as faith communities. By fostering collaboration, they can raise awareness and develop large-scale initiatives for prevention and intervention.

Our Company has been a Silver Medal sponsor of Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence, providing substantial financial assistance through the Annual New Albany Classis Invitational Grand Prix and Family day programs.

Ronald McDonald House Charities-Information

By creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is working to better the lives of children and their families around the world. The three core programs of RMHC - the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile - are focused on helping families in need. Their cornerstone Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 based on a simple idea: Provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since that time, more than 10 million families around the world have benefited from the comfort provided by a Ronald McDonald House.

We have been an active supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the past couple of years, participating in such events as the IT Equipment Charity Fund Raiser, Cookbook Sales, Pop Top Collection, and a Master Sponsorship of the 21st Annual RMHC Golf Classic. We care a great deal about children and families in need, and we offer our continuous support.
